The next Parish Council Meeting will be held on MONDAY 27rd November in the Village Hall at 7.30pm

All members of the Parish are welcome.

County Councillors will also attend, and questions can be asked during Public time at the start of the meeting (maximum time 3 minutes per speaker or at Chairman’s discretion).

  1. Apologies and Declarations of Interest County Councillors reports
  2. Minutes – Approve Minutes of meeting held on 23rd October 2023
  3. Planning
  • App. 23/02732 Cuttifords Door Farm, Removal of existing temporary storage trailers and erection of a steel framed workshop/store building.
  • App.23/02790/PAMB Pole Rue Farm, Pole Rue. Prior Approval notification for change of use of an agricultural building to a dwellinghouse. Notification only
  1. Allotments Lease Update Renewal date 12.2025 but 12 months’ notice required for allotment holders.
  2. Flood Mitigation and Community Resilience Meeting – Update Next Public meeting postponed until Friday 26th
  3. Highways – report following Meeting with Highways Agency re A358 at Monks Yard on 25th

Combe Wood Lane/Junc. With Combe Hill –vehicle damage to verge and signs.

Knightshute – Agree stopping-up Order for part-drive at Buttle Cottage.

  1. The Lawns Playground/Combe Wood Field – Request for Cricket Nets

The Green – Christmas Tree Organisation

 

  1. Finance – Preliminary Precept figures (to be finalised at January Meeting).

Discuss donation towards grass cutting in Churchyards. Footpath Vol. lunch

 Agree – confirmation with Chairman if any urgent payments required before January meeting
