Combe St. Nicholas Methodist Church was opened in 1891. An news article, supplied by Stanley Hopkins, provides an account of the history of the Church. An article in the Bristol Mercury and Daily Post, of Saturday, March 21, 1891 describes the opening and also refers to the adverse comments from the parish vicar.
Sunday service is at 10.30am. Regular joint services are held with the Parish Church. Women's Fellowship meet at 2.30pm on the third Wednesday of each month, and a coffee morning is held on the first Wednesday of each month from 10.30am to 11.15 am in the church rooms.A Midweek Communion is held on the first Wednesday of each month at 10.00 a.m. before the Coffee Morning.
The church hall is also available to outside users.
The Methodist and Parish churches have signed a joint covenant to work together.
