Mount Hindrance - Judicial Review
We have learnt that McTaggart & Mickel are seeking a judicial review of the Inspector's decision on their appeal. This means that there is still uncertainty about their application.
There have been four burglaries in the Parish in recent weeks.
The first two were in Combe St. Nicholas, where a bungalow was broken into in Underway and another property in Knightshute (on the night of Saturday 24th May). Neither property was occupied at the time. The third was at another unoccupied property at Foxdon Hill, Wadeford.
Now there has been another burglary in Underway, at a property where the owners were away at the time.
Please be vigilant and make sure your property is secure. If you, or a neighbour, or family, are leaving your property unoccupied or are away overnight, leave lights on and perhaps ask a neighbour to pull curtains for you or even leave a vehicle on the drive if possible.
Report any suspicious activity to the Police.
